Helpful Tips in Ordering Flowers
- Give the occasion (Birthday, Anniversary, Funeral, etc.) This will help your florists make suggestions in containers and types of flowers available.
- Give the Recipient's name, address, and phone number. Be sure the florist knows if this is business.
- Ask about in-house specials and product availability/pricing. At non-holiday times of the year, florists have better prices on certain flowers.
- Give names and/or notes for enclosure card information.
- Delivery date and approximate time recipient will be at the above address. This too will be the time you give any added instructions. For instance, if the recipient is not home, may they leave it with a neighbor or would you rather the arrangements go back to the shop and call.
- Your Payment information.
Ordering early is a real key to any flower order. Many times a florist will prebook flowers at a lower cost if ordered a week in advance. Some florists will also handle only a set number of holiday orders. Ordering early in these cases will help assure delivery.
